I Created A Monster
03:55
|
|||
I created a monster, deep inside of me
Well he’s just an imposter, of the boy I used to be
Could someone call me a doctor, I’m lost and I can’t see
With eyes red as a lobster, blame it on my allergies
It’s time I make a decision, on what I want to be when I grow up
Can’t help thinking my vision, ain’t as clear as it once was
Trying to be too impressive, has made me lose my touch
Just a little excessive, like girls that dye their hair too much
I’m just rolling with the flow (I can’t do it, I can’t do it all)
Melt me down like a fire in the winter snow (I can’t do it, I can’t do it all)
Always maybe yes, maybe sure, maybe no (I can’t do it, I can’t do it all)
When it comes to pleasing everyone one I know
Making too many problems, taking all my energy
I just try to forget them, erase you from my memory
Get it all out your system, the vibes you’re sending me
You know that I wouldn’t wish them, on my worst enemy

Waste Away
04:07
|
|||
Well I’m hanging on barely by a thread
The whole worlds gone over my head
And it looks like, we’re sinking and we’re sinking fast
All my views are way too extreme
I’m too stuck living in my own pipe dream, oh well
I guess I’ll see how long it lasts
When I’m too young to worry ‘bout getting old
Chasing rainbows for their pot of gold
But I, never can find the end
Say I got to get straight I got to fit the mold
Don’t you worry ‘bout me I’m under control
Besides, it’s my time to spend
It’s another great day, it’s another great day, to waste away
All my friends they’ve got jobs to do
Say we can’t even hang out with you no more
Until we check in with out girlfriends plans
My advice to all the young bucks here
Is go to school year after year
And stay, as long as you can
Everybody wants a piece of that simple life
I wish it came that easy, because nothing ever will
No one’s knocking on my front door
Saying “hey kid” you’re coming with me
You’re the next big thing

Acquired Taste
02:58
|

They said it'd be a process, they said I'd be just fine
That like would be a concept, and it was gonna blow my mind
Can I have they option here, oh what's my price to pay
To keep thoughts as souvenirs, and put them out on display
I'm thinking that now, the world's misunderstood
And there's no separation in the evil and the good
But it's okay, I'm nowhere bound
What's the point of being lost if you're not trying to be found
So consumed with progress, revolve around the wealth
I've gotten to that age, I've gotta fend for myself
Devise some kind of plan, that's a little more my pace
You don't appreciate life now, it's an acquired taste
I'm thinking that now, the world's misunderstood
And people fall for anything if it makes them look good
But it's okay, still nowhere bound
I might be a little lost at least I'm trying to be found

Georgia Peach
02:42
|
|||
Oh my little Georgia peach whatcha doing down there?
Come on back to Virginia breath the lover's air
See what you're missing with me, I'll give you everything
We'll be happy as angels who are getting their wings
I'll give you love, 'til their ain't no more
Oh my little Georgia peach don't you taste so sweet
Let me be the only one who can shake on your tree
Oh you've got my heart beating out of my chest
You're keeping me up 'til the morning, I'm getting no rest
Why I give you love, 'til their ain't no more
And we'll be in love, 'til we ain't no more (not until we're dead)
The funniest thing about me if that my love is never running out,
Never gonna change
So lets pick off where we left off, minus a couple of days
Now I hope and I beg, I scream and I cry, I laugh and I die
I yell and I scream
For some kind of way to make this reality and less of a dream
Oh my little Georgia whatcha doing down there?
Come on back to Virginia breath the lover's air

Scared Of Everything
03:21
|
|||
We're up in arms about, literally everything
This modern day that's how it's going to be
It's such a zoo out there, you think you're running free?
Now I'm learning things, that they don't teach in school
Like never trust the news man on TV
Hypocritical, blind conspiracy
I'm too scared to sleep, 'cause you killed all my dreams
When I'm too scared to breath, now I'm just scared of everything
I don't love money no, it never did love me
It's like a one night stand then out the door
It all goes anyway, 'cause we got bills to pay
And I got people knocking on my door
Always wanting more

Sunday Best
02:51
|
|||
Good morning Ashland
You know it's bright and sunny outside
What do you say we go walking 'round the neighborhood
See what we see, do what we do
We'll wear our Sunday best
Every single thing's gonna be, just fine
